You might be surprised to learn that Kunal Nayyar , who played the hopelessly lovesick Raj Koothrappali in the sitcom The Big Bang Theory , was actually born in London, UK, but moved to the US in 1999. After landing a few small roles in NCIS, Nayyar had his lucky break with The Big Bang Theory and is now believed to have a net worth of $45 million (£34.5 million). Kunal Nayyar bought an isolated complex in late 2011 for just under $2.9m (£2.2m).
