Millie Bobby Brown ‘s time on Stranger Things will soon be coming to an end with the upcoming fifth installment being her last, but it doesn’t look like she’ll be leaving the action roles anytime soon. Between Netflix’s hit sci-fi series and movies like Enola Holmes, it seems the actress has an affinity for suspenseful adventure, and her latest project promises to be her most action-packed film yet.
The star gave a glimpse of what she’s been working on lately, which includes a total transformation into a female dragon fighter. Millie took to Instagram to reveal fans their first look at her new Netflix movie, titled Damsel, a fantasy production by Juan Carlos Fresnadillo.
In a promotional clip shared by the streaming giant, Millie Bobby Brown is seen sporting a new hairstyle, a reddish bob parted in the middle, and looks ready to fight, wielding a sharp sword at an unknown foe. In another clip she is seen apparently after the battle, sporting a scruffy, medieval-style look with a metal corset and frayed red skirt.
Millie continues to bet on action productions
The film, which opens on October 13, has a star-studded cast, with Millie Bobby Brown, who plays Princess Elodie , starring alongside Angela Bassett, who just won a Golden Globe for her role as the Queen. Ramonda in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, as well as Robin Wright, Nick Robinson, Ray Winstone, Brooke Carter, and Shohreh Aghdashloo.
The 18-year-old has quite a busy schedule these days. Not only is she getting her undergraduate degree from Purdue University, but she’s also currently working on another star-studded film with the Russo Brothers’ AGBO behind her. Starring Ke Huy Quan, Brian Cox, Stanley Tucci, Chris Pratt and more, The Electric State follows an orphaned teen who travels the American West with an unlikely partner in search of her younger brother.
